Our son has been going to Warrior Defense for jiu jitsu for over 2 years, and he absolutely loves it! The classes are very well structured, and the children are taught to respect their instructors as well as each other. In addition to improving strength and flexibility through body weight exercises, they learn discipline and self confidence to be able to defend and protect themselves. Life lessons such as dealing with bullies and judging the bad intent of strangers are invaluable additions to their martial arts training. I can't say enough about how much we value the opportunity for our son to learn from such highly knowledgeable instructors in such a structured, clean, and welcoming environment. Definitely check out Warrior Defense Martial Arts - by far the best in the West Volusia area!

This summer camp was absolutely amazing. My son had a blast and came home exhausted everyday! We can't wait for next year!
WDMA is amazing! Sensei Ginger Mark is absolutely exceptional! We had visited other facilities and did not feel at ease, the moment we walked in and met Sensei Giner we knew it was perfect! My 4 year old granddaughter attends and I could not be more pleased and impressed. The facility is always clean and well kept, Sensei Ginger Mark is top notch! She is amazing, patient and even brilliant with the little ones. I love the level of discipline, expertise and structure. She is patient enough with the wild ones but not so patient as to allow them to disrupt the entire class. We cant wait for our 2 year old granddaughter to join as well! Thank you Sensei Ginger for making a way and a safe place in Deland as an outlet for our little ones.
Warrior Defense Martial Arts has been my family's second home for five years now. Our family has not only learned how to defend ourselves, but we have also gained self confidence and self respect.
