I bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2 months ago. Was told it was checked out by the mechanic and it has a great engine. The day after I bought it, it was stalling out. I was assured it was either a short or minor. I took to my mechanic and I bought 6 new spark plugs and the ignition coil. While there, the mechanic told me that it has no compression in the 3rd and 4th pistons and I need a whole new engine. Now I'm out a car and when I let iconic know, because I never got a warranty, they basically told me I'm sorry. Very nice people but my mechanic said there's no way their mechanic didn't know this was a POS. Over 4500$ later and no vehicle. I'll never go to another buy here pay here again. Bring your own mechanic and make sure they look at the engine.
