Verrazzanos is a really great place to grab some pizza or sandwiches. The pizza is excellent and tastes very close to New York styled pizza. I would definitely recommend going there. They're one of the only pizza places that serve a 24 inch pizza. I can barely fit it through my front door. i have to turn it sideways a little bit.
The owner is very nice. Pizza is made perfect- place is small. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This is best NY style pizza around. Crust is great. Cooked to perfection toppings are plentiful. The pizza is huge and priced right!!
Just moved down here from Queens and I was not disappointed! Nice thin crust and overall a very satisfying slice! $5 gets you two plain slices and a can of soda which is a bargain anywhere. Cant wait to try their full pie options.
Stopped for gas and saw the 2 slice and a drink deal for $5. Snagged a couple big cheese slices and am stoked I did. Hit the spot! Tasty pizza at a good price. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.
Sorry but, 3 stars is actually good. We tried this place because it was a new place we hadn't tried yet, but we were disappointed. My boss ordered pizza for our company today and not only was there an hour wait (which wasn't horrible, it happens due to lunch hour) but the pizza was barely lukewarm once we got it. The jalapenos didn't have much heat to them. Those were also lukewarm. The pizza's sauce was good and the pizza itself is probably really good if you got it before an hour later had passed. Overall, it was not great, but okay.
