I paid for two large units for over two years, only to find the roof had been leaking the entire time and had destroyed most of everything of any value. The trip to get my valuables became a sad mission to take it all to the dump instead. They refused to offer any refund and simply told me I should have got 'renters insurance' to cover the damages. I said, well what about YOUR insurance, it's YOUR roof that is leaking! And was informed they didn't have any insurance for that! Don't take your stuff there unless you'd like to pay thousands for what amounted to a long-term garbage dumpster to ruin my stuff in. This is a poorly maintained and careless business that doesn't deserve your money.
As a employee of Stor'em, I have enjoyed working at this facility. The customers are friendly and easy to work with.
we came to get some Christmas wrapping and presents out of the storage unit about 10 or 10:30 and we were done about midnight and we are locked in we cannot get out!!! The access code will not let us out I think the gate code should always work when you're trying to get out if somebody sees this can they help us we are stuck in a storage unit locked in like prisoners I think this may be illegal
My friend has a unit here and I've helped her move things in or out a few times. It's a nice, secure area, very clean especially in comparison to some of the other places in town. It's also in a great location, the only drawback to where it is is making the turn in if you've never been there! I've been told rates are fair as well so I know if I ever need a unit that I'm coming here.
Decent units, but whatever foil stuff they use on the ceiling just shreds for no apparent reason and leaves little scraps of foil littered all over the place. The unit prices were better when I first got the units; I think there's been 2 or 3 price hikes in the last year and a half...
Update 12/30/19... Another rate hike..
