Work as a Yard Driver. Shuttle 53 ft trailers in and out of the dock doors. Very busy at times, especially during the Holidays. Main goal is Safety in the yard.
I'm one of those unfortunate ones. Got here last night, was told to drop my trailer in a spot and park in the bobtail area for a 0630 the following morning and that I could check in at 0600. I did just that, checked in at 0605. It's now 1230 while writing this review and still no word on being empty and the desk clerk is of no help. I have now lost my next VERY GOOD load and not sure if I'll even be empty today from the sounds of it. I will agree with most of the other reviews though, everyone has been exceptionally nice, just very VERY SLOW. Be prepares to wait and file for detention, if you can avoid the place, I probably would.
You never know what to expect here at this location, usually takes about 2 hours in and out depending on what you bring, but few times I was delivering here took 6+ hours from the appointment time until empty. They told me they have 8 hours under contract to unload the trailer, but of course broker will never tell you that and you are lucky if they pay you Detention. God help us all!
I know that everyone's situation is different, but I've been here several times and I've never been treated with anything other than friendless, and professionalism. Sometimes it takes a few hours, but never rudeness or anything like that. It is my belief, that you are treated in the same manner as you treat others.
Never go there before your time.nYou can wait where you are . If you go there there Valley Value market is behind the Target warehouse.nJust exit, take left on the light then take left second light the gestation and emediate take it right drive 500feet you see Value market it on your left .
