This place is beautiful and most of the sites are awesome. Lots of places to walk while surrounded by lake and canals, trees. The airport is a bit much at time, but otherwise it is such a glorious place to stay. The garbage dumpsters are frequently emptied, and there is recycling. I’m a single gal and never felt unsafe while walking my dog at night. The County should be proud of this place. I will be back.
I really love the lakeside campsites. The water is nice and there are birds everywhere. It can be a little noisy with the municipal airport next door. You also have easy access to the park and it’s walking and biking trails.
We were on the lakeside. Fabulous spectacular wonderful, words do not do the site justice. Weather was fabulous. We will be back.
My wife and I have been coming here at least once or twice a year for the past 12 years. We camp maybe 5 or 6 times a year and this is the best campground in FL.nThere is so much to do and so many good places to eat. The campground personal are always nice and bend over backwards to make you happy. I highly recommend this campground to anyone.
Very nice county park. Great bicycling trails, walking trails and nature. Fishing and boating. Golf 3 par. Many activities to do.
