Marina Café Boynton

Great little coffee shop/cafe. Good food, good conversation, comfy atmosphere, fair prices. Very thoughtful owners during covid even offered to buy groceries for those in need. Grateful to have them nearby!

The food at this place was good, but there are some things wrong with this place. Let me just start off by saying there is absolutely no social distancing in this place or mask enforcement. The black haired woman who took our order was decently nice, but did not wear her mask. She would pull down her mask to talk to people and did not wear it while walking around, which during a pandemic is not the best thing to do. No one in the store was asked to wear a mask or socially distance. The wait was very long, I waited about 45 minutes for a sandwich and a grilled cheese. It's too bad that there were no COVID precautions because while the food was a bit high priced (just normal pricing for near the water), it was worth it and good.

For those with food allergies definitely ask for Scott. He is very helpful and accommodating. Personally, my group had an unfortunate exchange with the co-owner regarding a nut allergy, but that was just our experience.nnMy 5-star rating is reflective of the quality of food and the positive manner in which Scott treated us.

The food and customer service were amazing! I had a rough day and decided to just sit somewhere for a moment of quiet and lunch, and being here just brightened my day! Patty made an amazing breakfast!! The staff and even other customers were so nice and made me feel right at home. Cant wait to go back ud83dudc4dud83cudffbud83dudc4dud83cudffb they have a delicious frozen strawberry lemonade!

I first visited this place in February while house hunting.. I was excited about it's location and first welcoming impression by Scott the owner. I returned in June and continue to go due to it's location by the marina. Unfortunately I stop going after a while as it appeared the owner had no regards to the comfort or safety of their customers (or selected customers) by avoiding the mandated mask requirement. He also sold the disposable paper masks for $5 each. I continued to visit but sat outside. I walked in one day and the girlfriend/worker had no mask at the register so I politely ordered from a distance in hopes she would put her mask on. She did, but following that visit she became cold with me and made it clear she didn't appreciate my subtle approach. Not very professional behavior from a business owner's stand point of view..nI stopped going for a while but then decided to try again just recently. I ordered breakfast and what I found was a hair in my food. I pointed it out to the owner, he apologized and said he didn't have his hat on while cooking the meal and then proceeded to put his cap on. I also noticed a customer, on this same day, walking behind the counter to get his own coffee. It was my understanding this is an employee only area. I gave it two stars because of it's location. Will not visit again. Recommend trying My Cafe with a similar atmosphere. I hesitated to write this review but didn't feel comfortable voicing my concerns with the owner.nnUpdate: Scott, I'm sorry you were surprised at my review. And no we were not like family so unsure why you made that comment. I was a customer.
