Planet Kids

My experience with this school was beyond satisfactory. I have two older boys and previous experience with other schools too. The staff was great and my daughters pre-school year was very good. Her teacher Mrs. Mildred is amazing and was able to teach her so much. The school is very clean, very informative of everything that is going on and they have a lot of different events throughout the year that makes it so much fun for the kids and also the parents. For example: Trunk-or-Treat, Snow Day, Petting Zoo and not to mention the end of the year activities were they had Prom and Graduation for VPK which were both beautiful. If you have the option to put your children in this day care do not hesitate and do it. VERY GOOD!!!

I was out to lunch with my family at the same place the kids from planet kids were having lunch and we witnessed a staff memeber being very mean to a little a boy who was only trying to help the other students know they could fallow the staff to the rest room... my heart sunk when she continued... repeatedly to yell at the boy... demanding he tell her why he was shouting... over and over so loudly that the entire section turned and looked at them to see why she was causing such a scene. She then grabbed him by his wrist when they left and just about draggednHis little body out of the establishment.. My first instant thought was ....thank God my sweet babies do not attend this place. Be aware of what your children are being put through. Those children were so sweet and made my autistic daughter's birthday so special by singing her happy birthday.. but that women really needs to find another job that she likes before she really messes up those little minds. Or Hurts one of them.

Awesome school! Very clean and joyful environment. My daughter attended VPk here and I saw her blossom so much in her learning, social, and emotional skills. She was always happy to go to her school, singing songs she would learn, loved doing her homework. The teachers are very nurturing and understanding, and very organized with their curriculum. Thank you Planet kids for a great experience!

My son attended for 1.5 months and we saw a drastic change in his attitude and behavior, in a negative way. Some issues we had:nn1- They never asked for our immunization records (scary!) once he started there.n2- On three separate occasions my son came home with scratches or bites that broke the skin, without a teacher saying anything about what happened. When I asked what happened, they said they didn't know and he must have done it to himself.n3- My husband dropped off my son and saw two of the toddlers in his class fighting, with no teacher breaking it up- my husband intervened.n4- While the Director seems great and knowledgeable about education in the early years, I'm not convinced that the knowledge is passed down to the teachers. In fact, there were so many people in and out, I didn't even know who my son's teachers were.n5- At our previous school, I knew everyone by first name, but here it seemed the only time any staff talked to us was when payment was due.n6- It wasn't until the last few weeks of our time at Planet Kids that we actually started receiving daily reports on how my son's day went- how he slept, ate, potty, mood etc. I would ask and it seemed that no one could tell me how he was throughout the day. After weeks of this, we started getting daily reports a few times a week, but not consistently.n7- About attitude/behavior- we noticed a drastic change in my son- he was hitting more, biting more, spitting (which he had never done before) and was so tired that he could hardly stay awake and had an overall negative attitude. Most of these things are normal toddler behaviors in moderation, but it seemed that they weren't being addressed in the classroom, so they increased. Within one day of being at his new school, we saw a drastic improvement in his demeanor.nnI hate to leave a bad review for any company, and I do know people (even some educators) that LOVE Planet Kids, but unfortunately, we had a much different experience.

I must say that they have Upgraded Planet Kids dramatically. From there Playgrounds to there Classrooms & there Staff. The kids Love there Food and I even Notice that they are doing More Activity for the Kids. Thanks Guys keep up the Great Work !!
