Great beach!! Tables gazebos and charcoal grills...
A lot of mud and rocks made the lake unenjoyable. Best to use canoes and boats at this site then to enjoy the water by foot.
I was recently at this park with some friends and family and sadly we were discriminated against and kicked off without warrant. After being confronted by a man in a scuba suit that emerged out of the water, we were kicked off for what he deemed "roughhousing." This man was unable to be more specific about what specifically we were doing that was impermissible, and he was unable to gain the support of the lifeguards that were on duty. The lifeguards even went so far as apologizing for the man's behavior, stating that they did not think the way we had been playing was dangerous or a liability. After our time was arbitrarily cut short, the manager of the site tried to provoke us into a physical altercation, and we were denied fair compensation for the time that we did not receive but paid for. I hate to believe that such severe discrimination is permitted by the policies of the park or its management, but it seems that this is exactly what is promoted here. In brief, do know that they reserve the right to arbitrarily kick you out of the park due to ambiguous circumstances and refuse to refund you your money.
