The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I am not a fan of being able to drive on the beach.nnThe parking area is nice and big. There are pavilions with picnic tables and grills. They also have showers to rinse off after the beach. If I remember correctly, there are 3 boardwalks over the dunes and the vehicle entrance. There is also a bathroom with changing stalls.nnThe beach was nice and wide. It was low tide. The vehicles must park up by the dunes when on the beach. I didn't notice any life guards or life guard stands.nnYou can walk to the right on the beach to get away from the cars. You can also go to the left, but it's a longer walk.

Super awesome place. They have bathrooms and showers! Great short walk to the beach with littles, no problem! You can carry all your stuff easily on the walkway to the sand also. It gets CRAZY during weekends and summers so plan ahead, go early and keep options open for different spots because it fills up fast.

Nice large parking lot with easy access to the beach. Large clean restrooms and changing area. A few covered picnic tables with grills. Several uncovered picnic tables with grills. For horse riders, this is the place most of the horse stable renters meet up. The bike and hiking trail leave directly from this parking lot. The trail itself is beautiful and tree lined in many places.

Meh. Nothing to write home about. Great place for county residents. Visitors aren’t welcome to drive on beach but there’s a big parking lot with many picnic tables around and indoor & outdoor cold water showers & well maintained (albeit old) restrooms. Beach access over boardwalk beyond dunes.
