Walking in is like going back to Mexico... the layout is of a true Mexican tiendita with candies, fresh conchas, snacks and supermarket products. At the back there is the food by the pound area where you can pick up hand made tortillas, fresh salsa, shrimp cocktail (Mexican style), fresh tostadas. Tamales, YES! Delicious tamales is 3 flavors: chicken in green sauce, pork in red sauce and jalapeño with cheese. And you can also purchase chicharron en salsa verde and carnitas by the pound or in tacos!! This was my first of many forthcoming visits... glad it popped in Facebook as a place I might be interested in.
This place is absolutely amazing! Food was delicious! Highly recommend the carnitas or the chicharron en salsa verde. Tamales were delicious as well! Tortillas are freshly made. Guacomole was made right before you! I've had many tacos but these tacos were amazing! Definitely will be back!
