My entire experience was great as far as car repairs go. I went in for an oil change which was finished quickly. They all did a full diagnostic of my vehicle and explained the necessary repairs clearly. They left the decisions up to me and I felt no pressure to make a decision. Chris was my service advisor and was absolutely wonderful. The complimentary shuttle was great and the driver, Nick, was great to talk to. I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

Just a very POSITIVE experience. I came in formy emissions test and plate update. All went well and fast. I than set up an appointment for a general review of my truck as I have along trip planned.nThey gave me a free loaner to use as they worked on my truck. I had gone to two different dealership service centers with the impression that the manufacturer would be able to fix the issue I was having with my car's adaptive cruise control. Each time they quoted me mid four-figure prices for what should be a somewhat straightforward fix (given knowledgable technicians/appropriate equipment). Needless to say it was a massive headache and I simply wasn't willing to spend that kind of money.nnAfter planning a 2200 mile road trip, I figured I should try one more time to get the problem fixed. A quick google search showed that Silver Lake performed ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) calibrations, and despite living in Madison, the reviews seemed to speak for themselves. So I scheduled an appointment online, dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and was given a courtesy car for the day. Once they'd wrapped up working on my car, I received a five-page comprehensive diagnosis (with pictures) about the overall health of the car along with a phone call covering everything. The best part is that my adaptive cruise is working at less than 10% of the price the dealership wanted to charge.nnOverall, I am so impressed with the thoroughness, the attention to detail, and the quality of the work performed. Special thanks to Nick the service advisor, and Logan the technician for doing such great work; I cannot recommend Silver Lake Auto enough!
