So much to do here! There is camping, some of the best mountain biking trails in the state, a beautiful new paved trail for road cycling, and hiking or trail running on the Florida Trail. There's a bike shop right around the corner, handy for rentals or repairs. Picnic tables and public restrooms are also available. It's one of our favorite local places to spend the day or to just get outside for an hour or two!

Great campground in the middle of some of Florida’s best mountain bike trails. Setup the camper and pedal your way to miles of biking trails only a few yards away from your camp site. Park itself is small, nothing to offer such as playground, swimming, fishing, this place is strictly for the mountain bike enthusiast. Gear up the family and hit the trails!nCampground has about 25 sites, all full setup, eclectic and water, open sites so wave and be friendly with your neighbors. But sites are spaced well, especially sites in the 20’s, I stayed at site 25 and forgot I had neighbors.

It has been about 5 years since we were here, and I am happy to report that the trails are still in good condition and it wasn't too crowded today. It did hit 91 degrees today, and it is 17 March, St Paddy's Day. Felt cooler under the tree canopy but bring plenty of water.nWell maintained trailhead with plenty of parking. Dust that mountain bike off and come out and get some exercise. It's a blast!!

While the campground itself and the trail access were good, we will not return. We were greeted by the campground manager and immediately scolded for booking two sites under one name. This has never been an issue anywhere else. We were then told that our vans (no kitchen, no bathroom, no hookup at all) were RVs and not vehicles so we could not have 2 on a site. (This despite being much smaller combined than many of the RVs). There were no more sites available so half of our party had to stay at another campground 30 minutes away. And then there is the repeated circling of staff driving around the campground in the gator - what are they doing other than making a lot of noise? Lastly, the trains and traffic overnight makes sleeping a real challenge. If you are going to stay here with friends, make sure to call ahead to clarify what they will consider your vehicle - glorified tent or RV? And bring some ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. Better yet, stay somewhere else.

Excellent trail riding right here in Central Florida. Beginner trails all the way through to highly advanced. We challenge ourselves here on the difficult trails and routinely have to get off and climb. Great fun. Highly recommend here!
