Loved the boat ride, we saw lots of birds, including a bald eagle. The canal is very scenic. Our captain was very good at spotting the birds, alligators and turtles. Highly recommend.
My fiancé and I went on a two hour boat tour last Saturday, and it was wonderful! The weather was absolutely beautiful and cool, and the sun was shining. I got some good pictures of birds, gators, turtles and the lake. I wish we could have gotten a little closer to the light house in Mount Dora, though. John and Sandy seemed knowledgeable, and cracked jokes the whole time. The boat is also decorated really cute for Christmas! We had a good time, and are already considering another cruise soon.
This was a wonderful boat ride, plenty of relaxation, beautiful scenery, and a couple who know their flora and fauna and share it with you. Just a really, good, relaxing time for all. And the prices are very reasonable. Make a resevation to relaxation.
Captain Doc was our guide today. We decided to dispense with the recorded monologue and got a wonderful running dialogue from Doc. Doc made sure to point out eagle nests, alligators, varied birds, known and lesser know flowers, plants and trees. It was a wonderful afternoon even with the rain.nnI highly recommend this tour service.
The 2 hour tour was really good. Our Helmsman was Captin Dave, he and our First Mate Nate were very knowledgeable of the area and offered a wealth of information as well as some cut up humor. ud83dude01
