Always a great time and thank God for the heated pool. While it was def too cold to swim in the Spring (and it was closed due to flooding ) thankfully there was the pool and the park for all the kids. Staff is great, bathrooms are clean (could be a little updated) store is always stocked and most sites are large and room to spread. The best part though is that your well spent money goes directly to the Vets.

Poorly managed...everything is about $$. They boast about helping VETS, but they pocket and steal the money. Management lies and scams. Stating they are full when they are not. Two days the toilets had no toilet paper. Family bathrooms are kept locked. Facilities are in disrepair and not maintained or cleaned. After 10 years we will no longer go back. The family that manages this places takes up 6 prime spaces among themselves for only 3 campers. With only the mother working in the campground. The rest of the family just enjoys the free ride. Favoritism reigns supreme here. Do yourself and wallet and go someplace else.

This quiet little spot has a lot to offer for those looking to relax and lounge in the cool shade, natural springs and camp areas. A sandy shallow stream and playground are a young child's dream with two deep springs for the stronger swimmers. Friendly, helpful staff and amenities close at hand at the trading post with Wal-Mart a call away. Limited wifi and quiet evenings make this spot a gem unto itself. This privately owned veteran supporting spring make donating to a good cause a good time. A family favorite.

We stayed here for 2 nights, during our stay there was a war reenactment, which was fine, we were gone during the days anyways. The spring looked nothing like the pictures, idk if it is the time of year or not but it looked like a pond of stagnant water. Also, other talked about the closeness of the spaces ud83dude33 they are not joking. We had to pull our camper all the way to the front of the spot because our neighbors were so close to us they had a slide at the back of their camper and it was so close to us we could not open our door so we had to pull all the way up, which was also an inconvenience because then the post for the hookups was right at our door and we had to step to the side when we stepped out of out camper. Also, the lady at the desk doesn't wear a mask, which is a risk to both her and campers.

This rv park appears to be actual camping and fun with the springs within walking distance and the old Florida landscaping if old oaks and Cypress trees. Older campground but appears maintained and kids were having a great camping time, as should be. Look forward to staying here.
