Very average Chinese Carryout for the area. I was disappointed to find out that their version of Sweet and Sour chicken is chunks of batter fried chicken and a tub of cherry/plum sauce. I am used to sweet and sour chicken having pieces of pepper, onion, and tangy pineapple, with a nice cherry/plum sauce, along with the chicken. I was really hoping for some nice crisp veggies, hot pineapple chunks, and a nice chicken and sauce, for my dinner, but it was just breaded chicken and dipping sauce. Meh. Live and learn, I am trying to not expect much from the local Asian places, so I can stop being disappointed.
We have enjoyed delivery from Evergreen for quite some time. Last week we had their delicious food again. However, I chided the driver for not wearing a mask. I then gave him a nice tip. But did tell him to wear a mask the next time. (Hernando County is on the NYT extreme risk for COVID.). My daughter just called to order our Friday night delivery. We were told that we were on the no delivery list because of a problem with the driver last week(!). Contactless delivery is the norm for other restaurants. But not this last time. We were stunned to find this out. Unbelievable.
Good portions fair prices nice combos and lunch specials taste good
Excellent food, they are across the parking lot from the T-Mobile store. I got great food from evergreen and great service from T-Mobile awesome day
