Michelle's International Learning House

We love Michelle's International Learning House! My children learn so much while having a great time. I love that they receive healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. The teachers are all so nice and wonderful with the kids. The curriculum is very hands on. My children get to learn science, math, and reading in a fun and exciting environment. They also get plenty of time to play outside (There is even a garden for them to learn how to grow and eat veggies)! They school is very safe as well. They have a security code to get in the front door and a thumbprint scanning device to sign in and out. My son has asthma and I was very concerned about him having an attack at school, but the director and owner are very comforted and well versed in making sure the kids receive any treatment or care if needed. I am so lucky and thankful to have found Michelle's International Learning House!

The love, patience and compassion they show for my children is in describable. We are so blessed to have found them.

I waited to do this review. I thought everyone at the school were nice which is why I gave 2 stars. My child was at this school but I withdrawn him because I felt he wasn’t excelling academic or behavioral wise. I was told that he might need to be evaluated but we know our child and his capabilities better than anyone. What got my radar up was everyday when I ask what did you learn he couldn’t tell me. He would just say I played outside. Almost every time I pick him up no matter what time it was they were outside.. To shorten this story I moved my child to another school and he is excelling so much! He’s writing, spelling, counting money, reading just the short time he’s been there. His behavior in school has improved greatly at his new school. Although the teachers and directors seem to be nice at Michelle International, it was annoying to go into the school having someone keep telling you your child need to be evaluated. If I truly believe my child had an issue I would have no problem getting him help. I also think a lot of it had to do with their teaching style which is “play” that doesn’t work for my son a more traditionally structured environment suit him better. My review is not to down the school just to give parents a real point of view about schools for our kids. I have searched long and hard for schools and I feel that sometimes the reviews aren’t reflective of what you need to know people give reviews because they have a more personal relationship with someone at a particular school. I don’t care about that I just care if my child is excelling. His education is valuable to my husband and I. We need to know that he will have the tools he need to succeed. I just don’t think this school could have gave it to him. I wish them the best and I hope you all can take some things from my experience to implement in the future.
