Sal's Restaurant & Pizzeria

3/26/21. When we moved to Deerfield Beach June 2020 my husband found Sal's. At that time the pizza was okay for my husband, I am not a fan of pizza in florida. The last 2 times he got take out pizza it was burned & I met a friend there for lunch the other day & we both ordered the lunch special of 2 slices & drink, unfortunately it was so over cooked, dry & sort of cold and really no point in sending it back. It is a shame that you have to pay for horrible food. I do not know if there is new ownership but if not the original owner needs to get himself some new employees that know how to make decent pizza that is not burnt or overcooked.

The quality of food especially the pizza it seems has gone downhill drastically. Ordered just a regular pepperoni pizza and it was like eating a pizza made from a cardboard box. My fiance took one bite and threw it on the plate and just said never order there again ! Sucks but is what it is

Sal's is a nice cozy restaurant the people that work there are friendly and the food is excellent so try it if you get a chance I love their Pizza and their meatball parmesan subs.

We were first time guest on Veterans Day 2020, we went in to celebrate and have a nice dinner. This was truly a horrible experience, we had a waitress by the name of Georgia. I had to look up the name on the receipt, she never introduced herself. She was by far the rudest and unhappy waitress I have ever come across. All she did was complain so loud that the whole restaurant could hear her. She continued to complain throughout our service, she never filled our drinks, asked if we needed anything or asked if our food was OK. She even said that she wish that she would've requested this day off so she would've never been there. She slammed our food on our table, never came back to us. She seemed busy communicating with another table the whole time. We felt neglected and unwanted, we wished that we never came to this place of establishment. It was Veterans Day and we wanted to enjoy our time. I called the manager that night and told him about our experience. About how unhappy and unwelcome we felt. This company prides themselves as being a family business. The manager said he knew about this waitress's bad attitude and what we were talking about. Others on here have complained about a rude waitress and staff. It's a shame even in a pandemic that you would allow this person to drive away your customers. The manager offered us no help, no solution and basically didn't even care how we where treated. We won't be back and will continue to tell others to stay away. Who treats people this way on Veterans Day.

Food was decent but for only two tables the service was really mind blowing slow. 2.5stars at best.
