Awesome experience. Quick and painless for my friend. CarDrop beat CarMax's offer by $500! Also, the two gentlemen provided us with a complimentary Uber ride home. Can't beat that!
I went to Cardrop after CarMax and they did beat the offer from CarMax by $200.00. The staff were polite and friendly. However, the appraiser mentioned that he heard my fiancé and I discussing Carvana. He then proceeded to tell us that Carvana makes very high offers and then changes it when they come to see the car. After due diligence and research, I decided to sell to Carvana which offered me $2044.00 more than Cardrop. Carvana did not make any changes to their offer and their appraiser even went into the bank with me while I verified that the check was good. I am writing this review just to make potential customers aware of this tactic. Also, make sure you do your due diligence before selling your car to any place so you get the best deal!
