Aztec RV Resort

I love this place. Been here a month and staying two more weeks. Staff very competent and friendly. Extended my stay twice and they made sure I didn't have to move off my beautiful site. Amazing facilities, dog friendly, people have all been nice to us. Some don't seem to speak english so they only wave. I will definitely be back to this, the most beautiful RV resort in Florida!

So it's a nice place very pretty but they are not very friendly towards American families there seems to be different rules. Perhaps the rules are different if you own your spot or are just renting it I don't know but regardless of the reason be aware there are two sets of rules also it is not in a nice area for the price range I expected a nice neighborhood even so it is fully gated with a guard shack so I don't think there are security issues. Not sure if I would return or recommend to friends.

Agree the place is beautiful. That is about it. We made reservations for and paid for tiki site. Two days before we were to leave we were informed it was not available. When we arrived someone was in our spot, when I spoke with the guard shack a.k.a. security I was informed he was the only one here he couldn’t do anything about it that he would be off at five which was an hour and a half later and then I should go to reservations. I went to reservations, telling her the people from the spot o we were in our spot. She was most concerned with not “being able to change her reservation system” she took several calls while I was there (no English spoken) the persons in our spot were hours away. She conceded that we would swap spots (again concern that her reservation system would not be correct). While in t lobby a lady inquired about a watch left at the pool and she was informed that her husband already called and was told she would ha e to speak with the Association who happened to be closed. With Security, Reservations and the Association seems like a round about way for no one to accept responsibilities. Spoke w neighbor later there was a trailer I. Their spot when they arrived which is why they were in our spot. The neighbor on the other side stated someone tried to come into their motor home but the door was locked. They called security and nobody showed they ended up calling police. We won’t be staying. The area itself is busy lots of traffic and older strip malls. The activities and beach are not far away but with all the red light and traffic you won’t get anywhere quickly.

The place itself is very nice, I agree with others about the staff. Had issues with mail deliveries and was STERNLY told that if I didnt use the correct address then deliveries would be refused. (We used the address they gave us, 1 Aztec Dr, plus site number).nnI promise that nothing else will be coming here anymore, that includes mail, myself, or any of my friends. I can stay somewhere else and be treated better for less price.

Best resort in Florida. Staff is wonderful and they keep the grounds impeccable. The only thing they need to do is change the name to Aztec Motorcoach Resort.
