I will say that I have been going to sumo for years and I really do love their food. That being said, this year, I can count at least ten times now, I have ordered a cooked sushi that I really love. It’s all I order. Ten plus times now, it has been raw, and I’ve had to cook it myself again when I went home to eat. I’ve been contemplating leaving this review for a good long while now. This time, it’s cooked, but there is hard rice in them. It’s just time for a new sushi chef or something. Maybe the pandemic got to them, I don’t know. It’s been a rough year, I get it, but I’ve given the benefit of the doubt too many times. This place has potential. I see I’m not the only one writing bad reviews, so maybe take heed to them and get on that quality control. I will also say that the hostess should definitely be a little more guest friendly. I don’t feel very welcome when I walk through the door. Online order pickup times are usually inaccurate. I’ve waited for my food well past the pickup time multiple times as well.

My order was wrong, not completely wrong, so I wasn't too terribly upset. But the service was quick, and the prices are reasonable. Ill be going back.

We tried several sushi rolls, by far the worst quality sushi we have ever tried. Nothing tasted fresh, and the shrimp tempura just tasted like oil. Our service was not good either. Our takeout order took much longer than it said it would, and the woman on the phone and at the counter was very rude to us. Don't waste your money.

the seating hostess needs to be professional and nice. we went there 12 times since its the closest hibachi before covid started. but then the seating hostess may be the owner? rude. we all kept thinking should we apologize for coming here? we were scared of asking for anything. for rather average food and nothing special it wasnt worth our money. we have much better experience driving over the bridge to the other hibachi ones
