Little Dos

This is a really nice Restaurant, and bar.nI love the food, never disappointed.nThe Tacos are the best I ever had in my life: I'm a fat man, trust me.nI had the tacos with pork .... sorry I was thinking about them again.nI took a bite, and WOW!nTHIS PLACE IS FAT MAN CERTIFIED!

Food was ok. We sat outside and got seated right away, and chips dropped off. But then it took over 40 minutes to get a server. At around 30 minutes we said something to the hostess, but then it still took another 10 for someone to come over. Multiple times a server looked over at us, clearly saw we hadn't been waited on, but didn't come over.nWe ordered as soon as the server came over, but then it still took about 15 minutes to get the drinks. 40 minutes after we ordered, with no food, we went and asked to talk to a manager to try and get an update, but were directed to the bartender. They explained their kitchen was short staffed - which is completely understandable- but it would have been nice to get some sort of update. And clearly our server didn't point out to the manager or back of house that we had sat for a while without being greeted. Front of house looked fully staffed; they were several open tables inside, and over the course of our wait the entire patio cleared out. Another 15 minutes passed and we finally got our food. One of the dishes was wrong, which normally at this point we would have ignored, except the one that was wrong was a food allergy issue. Luckily the remake only took about 5 minutes.nAt no point were we talked to by the manager. We weren't expecting a discount or anything, which was not given, but even a sincere apology would have gone a long way.nWe don't plan on going back, which is a shame since our family has been going to the original Dos Amigos for years.

From the first step through the door, the staff was inviting, courteous and attentive. The server brought us chips and salsa right away and once she notice we were enjoying them, brought a second round of more than she'd brought the first time. She brought refillables without us asking and before they were empty. The male busser assisted by bringing the over weighted tray out in a display of teamwork. The order came out very timely, correct and delicious. They even delayed bringing the included churro until the plates were removed so they would be fresh. All in all, they have a well ran establishment with top notch food.

Very good Mexican food. Especially liked that taco was served in separate basket from other food so it did not get wet and mushy from enchilada sauce or beans, etc. Portions are large and tasty. Sunday margarita special was good too at $3 and served frozen or on the rocks. Also friendly staff!

Busy inside, at bar. Chose to be outside due to comfort level during these times. Food always consistent, good but nothing to excite. Can't complain about the $3 house margarita!
