Manatee Cove Campground

Stayed here for only a couple days. It was great! The hosts were awesome and the people were friendly... the campsite was clean and had full hook ups for our motor home. It's a great place to visit. Just beware, you have to enter through the commercial gate that closes daily at 5pm. If you come after that be sure to have the number to security forces to let you in.

It's a great RV fan camp for the military in Florida at Patrick Air Force base near Kennedy space center. Would enjoy it a lot more if we lived a lot closer. Cannot wait to fully retire and be able to travel with our RV and be able to spend more time.

Great little campground. The sites are well-maintained and John, the campground host, was very helpful and professional. My only suggestion, is to bring an extension for your sewer hose. The sewer hose connection and the other hook ups are separated by quite a long distance. Not a negative, just a heads up.

Best camp host I've ever encountered at any military campground. After arriving the campground was full. I went to a parking lot outside of the base. Was told to return in the morning when the gate opened at 6 am. Well I took my dog to the beach to play and wait for a spot to open. The camp host came and found me on the beach to let me know a spot had opened up for me! Who does that? Well, he did! So greatful for him coming to my rescue!! I'll be returning here for many years.

Great place to relax. Nice clean shower house. Beautiful sunsets .
