I received a notification and tracking number that an item ordered from Ebay was delivered. I was home all day. No delivery. Checked with my neighbor. She didn't have it. Tried to contact FedEx via phone and I keep getting an automated message saying it was delivered. There is no local number available. I was able to submit a request through a virtual system. Now I have to sit and wait for 5 to 7 days.

These less than competent delivery drivers keep delivering my packages to the wrong house!!! I pay more than 100-200 for whats in the packages and they just go around the whole Milwaukee/Waukesha area freely handing them out!! Seriously read the labels, it’s not that hard to do-its actually the most important piece of your job. The customer service team has even less sense than the delivery drivers themselves. I literally can not stand Fedex,they are such a huge down grade compared to USPS AND UPS.

3 days in a row this week our large-ish package was on a FedEx ground truck and out for delivery. I made an account on the website the 3rd night. No matter what I did to update my address, it kept correcting our location from Brown Deer to Milwaukee. It shouldn’t make a difference, but I know it’s come up in the past and has confused other deliveries. In the free account I was able to add brief delivery notes for our address. I stated home is in Brown Deer and added a distinguishing feature in our front yard.nnThe FedEx driver just came, day 4. Very nice guy. The notes helped. The other problem was the scan number he had for the package wasn’t the number on the actual package, so he hadn’t had an idea of which package was ours. I told him the approximate size it should be, he dug around and found it right away.nnAnyway, it was just an honest couple of errors, neither of which was the driver’s fault. In the future if there’s an issue I think I’ll update the delivery info with the package size, or call them and tell them.

Seems like their temp drivers are clueless about the delivery business. They'd probably pick up the pace if they were paid for each correct delivery and fined for each item brought back or misdelivered each day. If that were the case, some might owe FedEx money on payday. Incompetency will be the ruin of FedEx. There are plenty of unemployed people who could do a better job right now.

I subscribe to FedEx notifications and waiting all day for my package to come. Keep in mind deliveries in my area have come before 1pm and I have lived here for 7 years. All of a sudden I get a notification 3 hrs later saying there was a delivery exception and my package delivery was not even attempted. I call to find out why and I am told because of the holiday when the holiday(Labor Day) is Monday the 7th and today is Saturday the 5th. Than I see that there is pick up on Sunday but they tell me because they have a high volume of packages I can't pick up my package and I have to wait til the next business day which should be Tuesday, but it is telling me Wednesday. I just don't know what ha happen to customer service and reliability. Fedex is the worst and if I had a choice I would not deliver through them. Oh yeah, former employee of FedEx, UPS customs and USPS. If I had to choose it would have been USPS.
