Hung Hao Restaurant

Did take out the other day. Great as always. Nice portions. Great egg rolls!

This place is the best for fresh and tasty Chinese food. It's worth the 30 mile drive.

Whether we have dined in or ordered takeout the food is always amazing. The portion sizes are big enough to share an entree. The lunch buffet is small but there are still many options which are all delicious so it is well worth going. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. We love Asian food so we have tried mostly everywhere around the area and Hung Hao is the best we've had.

In attempt to support local restaurants during the Covid-19 Pandemic I ordered & picked up our dinner last night from Hung Hao. I might add we have been frequent customers of this establishment when they have been open for inside seating for the past many years. When I called in to place my order the Manager/Owner took my order promptly, however without any friendly person ability.nnWhen I came in to pick up my order I was disappointed that the Manager/Owner was NOT wearing a face mask. This made me feel very uncomfortable!nnWithout any emotion or personality he asked me for my name. I was pleased my order was ready. I mentioned I forgot to add chili oil to my order. He went in back and brought out a small container of the chili oil. I asked if he had something for me to put the chili oil container in. He responded no. He saw my displeasure and opened the stapled bag and put the chili oil in. I also asked if there were three fortune cookies in the bag? He answered, there should be. A girl from the kitchen came out and he asked her if there were fortune cookies with my order. She also said there should be. Not a big deal but it would have been good customer service to simply check the bag or provide me 3 fortune cookies. Turns out there were two.nnAfter I paid there was no thank you or appreciation for my business. Assuming he is the Manager/Owner someone should teach him some customer service skills, that he clearly lacks. It would also be nice to see a welcoming smile.nnWhat really provoked me to write this review was that the plastic lid for the quart of soup I had ordered was cracked. When I picked up the bag from the floor of my back seat a fair amount of the chicken soup broth leaked all over the floor and back seat of my car as I lifted the bag. I might suggest they put the food orders in a plastic more protective bag.nnIt’s unfortunate how poorly this restaurant is run by management, as they do have some of the best Chinese Food in the area.

Called to order food. The male answering the phone, spewed something and placed me on hold - all within a second. Never came back. I never got to say a word. Rudest person ever. Service is as important as is taste. There are other places that respect customers.
