This was a lot of fun and wasn't TOO much money. Not sure if it is $70 fun for a family of 4. The kids really enjoyed it. But make sure to wear boots! Saw a lot of people in tennis shoes and their feet were wet and frozen due to the depth of the snow in some places. Also ski pants are a good idea if you want to crawl through the tunnels, sit on the sculptures, or go down the slides.
Always amazing! We've been several times and always enjoy ourselves. Going later on a weekday is always better. So much fun this time! The sled slide was awesome! Looking forward to next year.
What a wonderful experience! This is a great place for a date night. Just be sure to tell your date to wear boots. Snow gear wasn't necessary but there is a lot of powder snow on the ground. If you're planning to slide on the slides then rainproof pants are a good idea too. There was a fire dancer that did a show every 15-20 minutes. Highly recommended!
It was a fun & unique place to see. There are a lot of places designed for photo opportunities like carved out thrones, a bench made out of skis, a cave with a bench, & more. There are several tunnels for the kids to explore, as well as some tunnels for big people too. There are slides that accommodate all ages from young children to adults. The staff is friendly. There is a little treat shop inside the castles where you can get hot chocolate. There are a few heaters around with dry benches if you need to warm up. The only thing I was unhappy with is the customer service number we had to call to change our reservation time. The website said it's better to call than to change it online in case there is an issue or we would have just done it online. The representative was very helpful & was able to change our time, but we were on hold for 45 minutes to do so.
This place is okay not like frozen movie castle. That's what I was expecting earlier. 😜
Best time to visit is in the evening when you can see castle in daylight and later with colourful lights in the evening.
Wear proper snow gear. Snow shoes and snow pants and good jacket and head scarf. Your dresses and shoes will surely get wet if not properly dressed for this place. In that case keep a spare.
Very beautiful drive. But be careful deer crosses at few places.
