Been there a couple times now. Very generous portions of the meats! In the combo as well as on the jumbo sandwiches, had the z-drake. A sausage topped w pork, chicken, and brisket. Excellent combo. The pulled chicken has excellent flavor. Good snap with their smoked sausage. The pulled pork is a bit bland and soft for my tastes. Potato salad is pretty standard, doesn't really stand out, but not a bad option. Ribs n beans side have a really nice smoky flavor to them! Definitely a favorite, and one of the better beans I've gotten around here. Cornbread is quite light and tender, but holds together and not crumbly. Burnt ends on Fridays, just delicious. Had Excellent service both times I've been in.

The absolute best BBQ in the area. I have personally fallen in love with their pulled pork.

Drove an hour to try this place. The husband stopped on his run and said he loved it. We got a sandwich and nachos and it was definitely enough to feed two people. We got the brisket on the nachos, apparently I ordered wrong (according to my husband) but it was still an interesting dish and the sandwich with the other two meats. My husband couldn’t stop drooling. Definitely will go back again. Definitely recommend this place.

Definitely unexpected. We were in the area to eat at a different restaurant, recommended by friends. That place was too busy. We were going by LD's, also recommended by friends. We decided to stop. I like barbecue, but, too many times I have been disappointed. So I generally don't bother. But, I was extremely happy we stopped at LD's. From the sauce, which is one of the first things that turns me off at other barbecue restaurants. To the large beef brisket sandwiches and whole barbecue chicken, potato salad, Ribs n Beans, to the cornbread, everything was excellent. Like I said I can be a little iffy about barbecue, I am not iffy about LD's, I will highly recommend to friends. LD's is a little bit of a drive for me. But, I am definitely going back. Maybe tomorrow!

Got there at 11 when the doors opened ordered the z-drake sandwich which is brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and a smoked sausage. That came with a side of ribs and beans, a friend had a half slab of ribs and slaw. The sandwich was big and exceptional. I tried the ribs my friend had and was also impressed with them. Long story short... I moved here from Kansas City in 2007 and I have been disappointed several times with barbecue from the area. LDs did NOT disappoint. If you're looking for great barbecue hit this place even if it's a drive for you, it's well worth it.
