Chef Jimmy is amazing. My wife's salmon melted in her mouth. My meal was equally great. His homemade pumpkin ice cream is spot on. Best restaurant in the North Woods in my opinion!

Been going to Guide's since late 70's. This was best meal ever and it was sooo good. Appetizer of mushrooms was really special excellent. Chef owner maybe doesn't realize that he has grown in excellence over the years. He has really got it going on now. Each course is very refined not just main course.nWife had Scallops special, she said it was exceptional.nThis is a place that is worth the higher price, a good investment in your quality of life.nTry to get a table with window because the view is unexpectedly cool and actually feel good.
