Being of German descent, I'm always intrigued by what some consider German fare. Well, this place nailed it. Everything we had was perfectly cooked and prepared well. Potato dumplings to die for, excellent beer selection, authentic German potato salad served hot, and a deep selection of German delicacies. The staff was excellent, and no less that 5 people thanked us for coming in on our way out. I really wish this place wasn't 400 miles from my home. I'd be a weekly customer.

The prime rib was awesome, the sweet potato was the best one I have ever had. The people who own this place were very nice when we got there and the food was just delicious. They have a great German food menu as well. I really enjoyed it here. My friend got grilled shrimp and she said it was delicious.

Very good food. Prompt service. Fair pricing and they wiped down the entire table and chairs before they would allow us to sit down. Followed social distancing recommendations.

We picked this place by chance after a day at Road America and it was wonderful! Our server was a pleasure to talk with. The food was outstanding (Try the schnitzel!) And the establishment had a great local vibe. We all wish it was closer to Milwaukee, but it will be a automatic stop when we head up to RA.
