Kidz Town - North Ogden

Let me preface with the 3 year old teacher in the mornings I would give her like a thousand stars if I could as well as the kitchen lady who's name I can't remember and the lady who is at the front desk. So, I have mixed feelings about this facility now due to the fact that their regular director who we really like is on maternity leave and now there is a director temporarily in her place who has essentially taken it upon herself to make changes and to dishonor commitments previously made by the old director, who will be returning. Our child's care needs to be reduced to part time from full time due to our need but they are apparently under hers and the lady who is above her trying to weed out the children who are part time. This is super unfortunate because first, our child loooooves his morning teacher there and we really like her. She is so sweet to him and very patient with him. Second, this means that now our child has to switch to a completely different daycare because he doesn't fit their needs versus them even slightly attempting to fit ours. She told me that it's because they can't staff appropriately. Now let me explain this from the experience I have had here. They don't initially start with the number of teachers that 9/10 they will inevitably need for the day. They wait until they are at the maximum or one over the maximum number allowed by the state before they have another teacher come in. They have approached their staffing with the outlook of well, I'm not going to pay you until I absolutely have to even if that teacher in there is at her max and could really use your help. With the new director she has to call the additional staff member to come in versus them being their and ready too. This makes me feel especially horrible for the morning teachers who is getting all these kids ready to play and she's just one person. Anyways, if your're part time you'll want to look someplace else because all they want are super consistent kids. I even argued that I could have never told them and they wouldn't have noticed, she said they would have. They most definitely would have not.

My kids have been going to Kidz Town for years, the teachers and staff are always so sweet and caring with them. They do fun activities with school age kids in the summertime. They’re hours are better than any daycare I’ve ever used! I love knowing my kids are well cared for while I work.

We have been bringing our kids here for years and my oldest liked going on field trips as an older kid and I know when our twins first started going as baby's they received extra care and attention as they are like any kid and didn't want mom and dad to go but their teachers would hold and comfort them till they stopped crying and seeing that always made my heart feel good. They have had and do have many great and caring teachers..i will not take my kids any where else.. 👍

My daughter has been to a few daycares and as a parent it can be scary leaving your kids with strangers. I had a bad experience at a daycare prior to her going here so when we finally found this daycare we were relieved and grateful. The staff is great and the director was so good and supportive to my daughter especially after the loss of her dad. I will always recommend this daycare!!

I absolutely LOVE the amount of one on one attention my baby girl gets from the providers here.
