I am a prior student at Weber High, in my opinion from what I’ve heard, the bad has been outweighing the good. There are a select few of the administration who are very helpful and supportive and throughout my time there I had a large group of them, but hearing things from other past & present students makes me so sad.
They say administration hasn’t put in effort to help them, and they feel almost unwanted at the school. I had experiences like this myself when I was there as well. The new principal greeted me with an unhappy attitude right as I saw her, along with a very unpleasant and impolite encounter. I’ve heard anything but good things about her, and how she runs things there. This also goes for other select staff members who I personally, and others have encountered. Maybe try getting input from the students instead of just throwing people in positions and hoping they do well with the students who go there.
I hope they try to improve the quality of the school and administration, and talk to students more about how they feel at the school. So far, it seems as if a majority of them are miserable and want change, but feel too scared to speak their minds. Best of luck to present & future students at Weber High.
Half a million dollar homes does not translate to student body academic standards, it only says these kids are privileged to have more resources at their disposal. With every school there are kids out to study, and there are kids out to screwing up. Those with intellectual curiosity, empathy, human respect will learn to go on to succeed in life. The others, sometimes appear as shiny star in the high school era, will come to fade quickly in society.
I am a student at Weber High School. In my opinion, WHS is an amazing place to attend. These comments about the student body are not true. You cannot judge an entire group of youth based off of the actions of a couple girls that made a stupid mistake. The student body from my experience is AMAZING!! I hope people can look past a couple girls to see that this is truly an amazing school.

I love Weber High and can't believe what people are saying based on some dumb comments. Don't you think that those cheerleaders feel bad for their comments? Even if they aren't it doesn't make Weber High a bad school! You can have your opinions but you should at least know what you are talking about before you put down an entire student body.
