This spot is worth a try. They serve large portions for fair prices. Regularly well organized and with good mood. Will visit here again.
Totally bizarre experience. Walked in, waited several minutes. A female server finally walked in from the back holding an ice pack on her head and didn't say anything to us. My husband asked if we should seat ourselves, and the server seemed totally annoyed we were there and walked away. We took menus and sat down. No one else was in the restaurant. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to our table, and when no one did we left.nNot sure what this was all about. We came at 5pm on a Tuesday.
Walked in waitress looked as if she had head trauma due to the ice pack covering the side of her head. We stood there staring at her for some type of response, I had to initiate contact to ask if we should seat ourselves her response was a grunt. We took a table waiting 10 minutes with no service we just decided to get up and leave.
We like the staff. We just had a snack. One hour wait for the food.
Love this local spot! Have eaten here many times. Only 4 stars though because at one visit (I had brought out of town guests) the server served cheesecake when we asked for red velvet cake, then continued to argue that we were wrong when we pointed it out. Even after saying we didn't want it, she did not take it off the bill. We had to ask for a manager who then promptly corrected the server and showed her what red velvet cake is...
