My fiancé is deaf. He reads lips. Went into the store, all of us wearing a mask. There were no other costumers. I pulled my mask down only to speak to my fiancé and then pulled it back up when finished. The “manager” rudely told me to keep my mask up. After letting her know that he is deaf and reads lips, she still told me to leave it up, still in a very rude tone. Again, no one else was in the store. My whole family had masks. We were nowhere near the workers. Even she was over 6 feet away. My fiancé tried to speak to her and, even after being told he is deaf, she continued to speak to him through a mask. She did not offer any accommodations. No pen and paper, no understanding, nothing! All she wanted to do was argue rather than offer some kind of solution! I wrote to corporate who gave me a link to the CDC and a blanketed response on the mask mandate, in which I sent a link back on ADA laws and accommodations, Title III, to be exact. Haven’t heard back. I used to love Carter’s. But this experience has completely ruined my shopping preferences. I will not be returning. Train your employees on ADA and thinking outside of the box for those who have disabilities!

Not good customer service at all. Very rude toned individual in charge and employee didn’t know the answer to something instead of checking to see if correct just said what they thought and was completely wrong. And then lied about it in front of me. Will not return to this store.

Denying someone entrance to your store because they physically can’t wear a mask when the rest of the group was willing to wear one, is disgusting. I will never shop at carters. So rude.

I love this location! Great sales and clearance. Easy returns and exchanges, even for online orders!

The service was excellent! I misunderstood how their "pay online, pick up in-store" worked. I drove an hour only to realize the order wouldn't be delivered to the store for a few more days. Needing the items for Christmas, the employees kindly helped me find replacements and offered to refund the online order once it arrived at their store. I'm a longtime Carter's shopper, and this experience reminded why I shop there.
