Have been long term customers of Milltown Dock and Marine. Have felt that they always treated me fairly and honestly. If I ever had a concern they’ve dealt with it professionally. I service my boat there. I’ve bought a dock and a lift from them. They have won me over. Special thanks to Laurie for her professionalism and great customer service!
Repeatedly for 3 seasons I have brought my boat in for repair and tune up. Every time, after receiving a confirmation that everything is working wonderfully, the first time I drop the boat in the water, the engine does not work rendering the boat non functional and often ruining the holiday/weekend for the family. I am astounded how a water test passed with flying colors but the moment the family attempts to use the boat, it is a completely different story. I will struggle to recommend Milltown Dock and Marine moving forward.
They will get it done but I have never been impressed with speed or communication. They are slow and do a poor job on status updates. I have used them 3 times in the last 3 years for repairs and maintenance and it's been the same each time. I always have to call and see if my boat is done. I only keep using them because they are so close and it's purely out of convenience.
