This is a terrible business. Our rental unit in Webb Lake leaked from the roof onto our furniture. Over the winter, ice dams formed in front of the garage door. There was no plowing done in front of each unit. The garage door was frozen shut and encased in ice. Once we chopped the ice free with an ax and pry bar, we found the entire unit flooded and frozen. Our furniture, on pallets, was frozen in place. Of course, nothing was covered by the owner. The manager was most unhelpful and unsympathetic. Consider yourself warned.
I would stay FAR,FAR,FAR away from this place. They are nice as pie till you sign the contract and then you are on your own. They seem to do little to no maintenance and to get anything done you have to deal with the 2 women in the office that are real nasty. The owner is the only one that can sign a check for the return of your deposit when you leave and he is not around and they say they don't know when he will be in. I also had to fight to get my deposit back and it took almost 2 months. I was in the Siren Wi. unit and moved across the street to a larger place that was 5.00 cheaper and larger.
I was late paying my storage so they double locked me. My lock annd one of theres..i paid up extra months to get there lock off well I dont know how but my lock is missing and theres is there so still cant get in to my unit. Great!
This place is the worst storage place I’ve rented from. We had to move out due to tons of mold after only 3 months of our things stored there. Many valuables ruined due to mold. They wouldn’t even give us our deposit back. Very unprofessional. Would NOT recommend.
Water damage, operator des not follow legal procedure under Wisconsin statues 704.90 and will illegally sell your stuff if you don't know your rights as a renter. All I'm saying is beware and rent elsewhere.
