This was our second time at wb’s eatery. This time we thought we’d give them another try and have brunch this time. We ordered bloody Mary’s and their churro donuts to start while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. 20 minutes later we received our drinks, which we thought were fine and I assumed would be about $7 based on what they were. After 40 minutes we received our donuts. There were 5 of us and everyone’s meals came out 5-10 minutes apart. My boyfriends meal came out with raw crunchy potatoes and burnt chorizo. Our friends breakfast had ham and eggs. The ham was what I could only describe as 2 slices of land-o-frost sandwich meat. My father in law ordered drip coffee and it took them 30 minutes to bring it. We were the largest party and there were only 4 tables occupied. It was less than impressive but the check came and our blood Mary’s were $14 a piece. Next time we’ll go to Harp-n-hound for $2 bloody Mary’s and mimosas and excellent service and much better food.
Don't waste your time... Staff wanders around aimlessly with attitude and effort that is best described as uninterested.. which all made sense once I found out they automatically add 18% gratuity to your chrck. Took forever to get food, drinks, everything... And it came out so slow, one dish at a time, that when one meal came out we were able to eat the dish before the next persons entre came out... Food was burnt and looked like it was made from low end grocery store deli meats... Tried to eat here twice now with really high hopes... But have been let down both times... Won't be surprised if it doesn't make it another year or two. Seriously.. just don't waste your time.. I will never ever come back and will never recommend this place to anyone.. seriously just go somewhere else...
This was by far the best breakfast I have had in Utah in the 8 years I have lived here, and that is saying a lot! I usually have to drive down to Salt Lake to find a decent, classy meal. We stopped in on a Saturday and we the only ones in to our surprise. The place was so clean and perfectly decorated. I adored the loose leaf early grey tea and the cappuccino was insanely good - it needed no sugar at all. The French toast was to die for!! HOW did they do that?! It paired perfectly with the savoriness of the breakfast chorizo skillet. We kept switching our plates back and forth to share because we couldn’t pick and stick to just one. They were plated as perfectly as they tasted. We will be back for every meal of the day at one point. My favorite part was that they made my wife and I feel so welcomed. In the polarizing world of 2020, especially in Utah, having an LGBT friendly place and feeling a small sense of community during COVID makes all of the difference. We are forever fans now.
We order the vegi & cold cut sand which. The vegi sandwich had tasty and a delicious vegetables that were marinated in some oil based sauce. Both sandwiches had a tasty bread. Way better than you would get from a chain sandwich shop. The sandwiches were a little bit on the small side but we were satisfied. It also came with a side of tasty chips that had a nice seasoning sprinkled over them. I also ordered a drip coffee that was very good.
You guys, if I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would, and here is why:
1. The BEST customer service I've ever experienced. I'm a customer service manager, so this is a big deal to me.
2. Amazing gluten free selection. My best friend and I shared a GF bruchetta toast plate and drank coffee together. You couldn't tell it was gluten free (this is a good thing).
3. The atmosphere is great. Lovely private spaces upstairs to help with socially distancing.
4. Upon leaving our amazing server gave us a cute stickers and a sparkler to light in the week to "celebrate the best part of our week". All the heart eyes.
5. This place gives their workers more thana server's wage, so they don't depend solely on tips! I love this! Good on this company 👏
I will be going back with my husband very soon!
