They sell a variety of goods that are found in grocery stores and I have shopped here at Carl's since 2006 when their prices were much lower. I still find some bargains on certain items and enjoy the stroll through several isles while hunting for a good deal. Checking out is usually fast and I do see it being a safe place to shop during the pandemic.
Damaged food stores get a bad rap. Carl's sells good but slightly damaged items. They also have housewares, shirts, knickknacks, and other deals besides food.
Everything there is good to eat or use. It's a good place to shop.
I love the adventure of shopping here. You never know what bargains you will find from one visit to the next. Much of it is out of date or moderately damaged, but freeze or use by dates usually aren't set in stone. The main exception is milk.. Also, I never buy dented cans. Otherwise, go for it!
Good place to find some good prices on groceries. A lot of mislabeled, out of season, about to expire kind of goods. I always walk in and find two or three great finds! The cashiers are always helpful and friendly.
Carl's Super Saver is a discount grocery store dealing in overstock and nearly-expired items. It has an eclectic clientele and frankly smells weird. However, it is charming and offers excellent value for those who look.
