Rainbow Shops

If you are looking to shop, have a good time, and feel welcome this is NOT the place. Today my group of friends and I decided to go out and have a fun time shopping around. However our experience in the Rainbow store was the opposite of fun. As we entered the store we began to look around and talk to each other about different outfit options, it wasn’t long after that when we started to notice the employees following and staring at us. We decided to ignore them and finish up our shopping early. They continued to watch us till we got to checkout at which they had called security. After we bought the clothes we left to look in other stores, we didn’t find everything we were looking for so we decided to go back to Rainbow and give it another try hoping to not be rushed out again. But again that was just the opposite. As soon as we entered the employees began to stare at us again and even began to whisper things about us. Due to this we all decided we were not going to shop and waited on our one friend who insisted on getting an outfit she had seen. While waiting the employees came up to us many times asking if we needed anything. Time and time again we explained we were just waiting for our friend and not trying to cause issues. They once again had security come back and stand right across from us crossing her arms and staring at us. We were then asked if we were going to buy anything. When we said no and that we were just waiting on our friend (who was in the checkout line) we were asked to leave the store. I understand that things have changed because of covid but this situation was not handled correctly. We weren’t told or asked a single reasonable question but instead whispered about, followed, and treated like we didn’t belong. As someone who visits the Rainbow store often I was very disappointed in what took place today. After today I will not be returning to Rainbow.
