Tom's Barber Shop

I got my son’s haircut here about an hour ago. I asked for a fade and a little bit off the top. The pricing menu said kids haircuts: $10. I usually tip 100% for haircuts since they are usually so inexpensive. When finished though, the barber said I owed $17 because she gave him a military cut. But never did I ask for a military cut nor did I see it as an option on their blackboard. Since I had $20 on hand and they don’t take a debit card, it cut into her tip which I wasn’t thrilled with but at the same time, I never asked for a military cut nor did she mention that was going to be her plan of action before or during the cut. She did a good job, just not what I necessarily asked for.

Been going to this shop for years....can't find a better cut at a better price anywhere. The new ownership is setting their own course through tough times for everyone. I always pay what I would at any other shop, they deserve the tip. I treat them as I want to be treated, they treat me the same. They don't put up with anyone's b.s., why should they? I love this place. Yes, prices have gone up, show me someplace where prices have gone down. Its still the best deal in town.

The service was quick and professional. The end product was great! The boys are excited about their cuts!

The owners are very friendly. And like their sign states we fix ,$20 haircuts. They fixed mine really good.

My husband and my son was going here from last 6 years but after this business had been taken over by two ladies the services have gone down tremendously. Today it was actually very bad experience with one of the ladies working there. When we reached there there were no customers and despite of that the ladies took few minutes to raise her head from her iPad and rudely asking how can I help you. It was fine till that point but she didn't did the job of cutting and cleaning the hair properly. She left the side burns as it is and when we asked to clean it she said she will charge extra for beard trim. I mean really. My son is 13 and it is very clear just by the looks that he doesn't shave. After we ask her to clean it she just made a line and left it. We asked her to clean it properly and at least finish the job she very disrespectfully said that she can shave him here if you want. How dare she talked about my son like that. I really want to report this lady but not sure where should I do that. She charged extra for beard trim which actually was not beard trim . Never ever in my life I had experienced anything like that in barber shop. I'll definitely report this business just doing my research where I can do so. Not doing a good job that still one can manage by not going there again but if someone cannot take control of what they are saying then that needs to be reported.
