I had my boat fixed two years ago and now i am having trouble with my boat. Took the lower unit apart and there was no new oil in lower unit and there was no new waterpump i was charged for.

I learned the hard way.When you can't get a quote that should tell you something.Mike,if your unable to do a job say so.I actually gave them the part that a good mechanic should have been able to change in half the time. Poor communication all around.They still don't know if issue wasnfixed.Take your work someplace else.Not good at diagnostics.Also today 5-4 opened engine compartment to find grinding dust and shavings all over engine.What a MESS !!! Steering wheel full of grease and dirt.n10-20-19 Update:Power steering fluid leak into bilge,MIKE broke off nut on hose clamp to cooler and decided good enough and did not change,guess where the leak is coming from?DO NOT HAVE YOUR WORK DONE HERE!!!

my father jeff racine and I will always gladly return as customers to dal tech , they are a very well organized family owned business. I was very stumped on a 50hp evinrude that I just could get to fire over but wouldn't run, I cleaned the carbs, siphoned the fuel tank , tested plug wires replaced the plugs pretty much did a full tune up and still couldn't get the boat to run, needless to say I opted to take my boat into their shop, ive always heard good things about dal tech compared to other boat shops so I brought it into them. they are very nice well mannered and above all THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! theyre the kind of shop that runs on honesty and old school tricks that you wish you would have thought of. in the end they figured out all the bugs in places I wouldn't have thought of looking, and what they charged me was shockingly reasonable!! if you want honesty and knowledgeable techs working on your boat take it to Dal Tech !nnNOTE: SOMETIMES THEIR PHONE LINE DOESNT GO THROUGH SO JUST STOP IN. THATS WHAT I DID, AND THEY TOOK MY BOAT IN THAT AFTERNOON AND HAD IT BACK TO ME THE VERY NEXT DAY!
