I've been practicing yoga here for 4 years. The studio is very welcoming to all styles of yoga. Whether you're a beginner, crave a Yin or Restorative practice, or like to heat it up with a level 2-3 class, there is something here for everyone. Very clean and tastefully designed yoga rooms, and the instructors are highly knowledgeable.
I have been participating in yoga classes here for many years. I find the teachers knowledgeable in yoga technique and skilled in providing various asana experiences, while incorporating the mind/body connection elements to also feed my soul. I look forward to the classes, knowing that I always feel better and think better when finished.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Inner Light (previously Haleybird). I particularly like that the punch card does not lock you into a specific class, at a specific time for a predetermined number of weeks. Some of the level 1 classes are so therapeutic that people with significant injuries can participate. Even within the level 1 class, the instructors give directions that allow people with varied levels of flexibility and fitness to make accommodations to enhance their individual practice. Tina is my instructor, but I have enjoyed participating in classes with other instructors as well.
FANTASTIC yoga studio! Wonderful people and great supportive atmosphere. Wish I could give them even MORE stars!!
Haven't been here - but my roommate was a yoga teacher here and the owner has yet to pay her for teaching a class. This automatically turns me off from recommending this place or going myself, doesn't seem like her priorities are straight.
