halcyon daysnnA calm and peaceful period of time. There was an old belief that two weeks of calm weather were to be expected just before and after the winter solstice, when the halcyon bird (a species akin to the kingfisher) calmed the sea in order to lay and hatch her eggs on a floating nest. That idea originated with the Greek myth of Alcyone, daughter of Aeolus, god of the winds, who was married to the king of Thessaly. When the king was drowned at sea, Alcyone threw herself into the water in her grief. However, the gods transformed her into the halcyon bird whom the wind carried to be reunited with her husband.nnThis park harbors the very moments which echo endlessly through me. Soccer, baseball and mischief. Fond memories and painful moments which make me the man Im today.

Fun disc golf course good for working on your midrange and putts . A couple open shots but most baskets are in the woods which I myself like .

Big park in a nice neighborhood, the park has two playgrounds that are very well maintained. Also has a tennis court and two baseball fields. In addition to that it also has bathrooms and has a big field to host or just play a game of soccer. Definitely deserves all five stars

It's a really nice park, scenic valley view. The course offers alot of elevation challenges yet most are all within birdie of intermediate players. The grounds have a tendency to become swampy with winding creeks after a good rain. Overall, worth a trip if you're into traveling the Milwaukee area for courses

Beautiful, well maintained trails are technically challenging without requiring super long throws.
