I was not impressed when I watched the mechanic rattle the lugs nuts onto my car without a torque wrench, I was less impressed when I checked the pressures on my new tires and found them all to be between 40-47psi. The recommended pressure is 32.
Update: Tried to rotate my tires and had 5 lugs break off, a few others have threads damaged enough that they need to be replaced. I know time is money guys but wheel torque is a safety issue.
Really, really recommended these folks! First, the young woman running the office was great every time we called. She came out immediately to greet us when we arrived, and made sure the mechanic knew what we needed. The mechanic was pretty cool too. He tried every tool possible to get my "locked" bolt off. Even though it didn't work, he put in a temp plug in our tire. Then he tried to fix our RV tire, but he didn't have the part to fix it. Then the young woman came back out to settle up, but the guy said no charge. He spent quite a bit of time with us. Just terrific people, personable, professional- everything you'd want from a business.
Fast & friendly folks, excellent service too. Open Sat & Sun! Inde MSR ate a couple tires but luckily got back quick and fun continued thanks to this fine local shop.
