Got my unit broken in to and they did absolutely nothing. I would give this place zero stars if I could honestly f—- this place

I think Ryan road storage is excellent. Kim is the sweetest, we have been here a few years now and never plan on leaving ,a GREAT, secure,clean place and extremely nice people.

This place used to be great when the father still owned it; however, when the daughter took over it all went downhill. She’s raised and then lowered rent numerous times, I couldn’t keep up with what my rent was.nnThe kicker was when I lost my job in the fall of 2017 and fell behind on my rent. I got like 4 months behind and since I wasn’t able to pay anything I ended up losing the unit after being a loyal customer for 6-7 straight years.nnThe worst part was a few months after losing the unit I received a bill for around $380 stating this was for unpaid rent and then a bunch of fees they added on after losing the unit. Mind you, my rent was between $50-65 a month and I was only 4 maybe 5 months behind by the time I lost the unit, but now they’re demanding $380. They also stated they weren’t able to auction off my unit and that my items had ZERO value so I owed the full amount. I find this hard to believe because just the tackling dummies alone were worth about $100 used. Then I had screen printing equipment that was worth over $1,000 used along with various hockey gear and tools. In all I probably had about $1,500 worth of stuff in there.nnHowever, the owner doesn’t have to prove they did or did not auction off the unit nor provide proof on whether or not they sold any or all of the items. For all I know, she sold my stuff for well more than my back rent and then decided to charge me my full rent plus her administrative fees.nnIt’s crazy; for someone that calls herself a Christian (I met and spoke with her a couple of times) she definitely serves 2 masters. Dealing with her, it clearly shows she lives her money and will screw over anyone to make an extra dollar. If you read reviews of other properties she owns and manages, you would see more examples.nnShe should be ashamed of herself and business owners like her belong in jail for fraud!

Great storage place! Friendly staff and well kept units. Highly recommended!
