Did not come close to living up to my expectations. Here is how thing went from my perspective . Crew did not show up every day. Used my personal drop cloths, paint brush, and ladders from my garage with out permission , and just tossed my painting cloths in the corner that where sitting on top of the clothes. After I confronted the owner he bought me a roller, not the same size roller but a new roller. Then after that they used a chop saw with out permission ( I said they could use it after they started to use it so the job could keep moving. As long as they replaced the blade ) and then I had a brand new in the package file that they ripped open and used. They Painted window frames ( old school type ) and now some of them won’t go back in. They painted glass on the windows that is still there. They painted over the door bell. And they painted a rotted hand railing. Would not use again.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY THEY DID HEROIN IN MY HOME. I was quoted at 1 week for a project and after 2 1/2 weeks I was left with a completely unfinished and horribly done house. To start, I had new doors put on and I had to ask the guy to come back THREE times to fix them since they weren’t closing correctly. He never sanded the doors so they had very rough edges and when I brought this up he took a planar to the edges of my doors completely ruining them instead of taking the time to properly sand (which was stated in the contract he would do). He also miss-measured all 3 sets of closet doors so they are all different lengths and one set is so short he stuck CARDBOARD shreds underneath the doors so the tracking could catch (yeah he didn’t think we would notice). He completely ruined $800 in new doors. We also had our trim painted by another worker. In the contract it said they would power sand, hand sand, and caulk everything prior to painting- NONE of this was done. The paint job is horrible with awful streak marks and heavy painting that caused drip marks to dry permanently. The painter didn’t tape much of anything which lead to paint all over our hard wood floors, kitchen sink/cabinets, windows, desk, brand new painted walls and fixtures, etc. Besides the awful job they did, they were completely unprofessional. The carpenter left my garage open all day long with no one home, he didn’t have his own drill bits so I borrowed him some of mine which he LOST, and the painter took soda out of my fridge without permission and then later said he “hoped I wouldn’t mind.” They scratched my hardwood floors putting the doors in and from improperly moving furniture. Honestly, the list goes on and on but the cherry on top is when the painter did HEROIN IN MY HOUSE WHILE I WAS HOME. Yupp needles, spoon, video footage, everything. Police had to be called and when I immediately fired the company and refused to pay the owner threatened me non stop for weeks. The owner takes no responsibility for his own workers and just wants your money and will threaten you to get it.
On Sunday I called James from a yard sign and we made an appointment for the following Tuesday night at 5:30. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to be at the property on time. At 5:45 I called him because he hadn't shown up yet. He didn’t pick up the call so I left a message.nnHe returned my called at 6:50 and sent a text with excuses as to why he didn’t show up and that he was still interested in bidding for the job.nnHe was driving when I initially called, he wrote the address on a piece of paper and lost it, he lost my number…nnI wonder who has a phone that doesn’t have a call log.nnI'm pretty sure that he completely forgot about the appointment. Had he admitted that when he called back and asked for another appointment, I probably would have understood and agreed to reschedule.nnThe reason why I am submitting an unfavorable review is because after a few text messages back and forth the next day discussing his excuses, he blamed me.nnHe said and I quote “Good luck to you” “If you remember I tried to meet you that day my guy just reminded me.”nnWhat an ass. This is not the guy for your job.
