Walgreens

I had used the Route 66 Walgreens pharmacy for years and had recommended them to countless others for what used to be top quality service, but their policies have grown more discriminatory towards marginalized populations, including me. During COVID, apparently they changed their policies to where only those in motorized vehicles are allowed safe access to the drive-through. Although no staff member there could accurately cite such polices, they insisted that only e-bikes, motorcycles, and passenger vehicles were permitted. Why? Supposedly because bicycles are dangerous (unless an e-bike mod is installed), even though motorcycles and cars kill way more pedestrians and passengers than manual bicycles or walking do. As for normal walking (which most people do to even get to their bicycle/e-bike/motor vehicle/motorcycle), I am appalled that such a company as Walgreens thinks walking is more dangerous than driving a car. Walgreens and any healthcare provider/pharmacy out there should be encouraging people getting outside and moving, especially considering the pandemic and climate crises we are in! They know I am at high risk for seizures without my medication and that it is unsafe for me to go inside due to COVID. They refused to accommodate my disability even though this is literally the pharmacy I go to to manage my conditions. They offered no alternative solutions, not even to meet me by the front entrance as requested. So essentially Walgreens has changed their policies to where those who cannot afford a car (specifically if due to class or disability) are required to go inside to risk their own, staff, and other customers' lives, with risks including being physically close together without barriers, touching keypads, and breathing the same stale air. Now I'm hoping I can get my meds transferred somewhere else on time instead of needing to go to the hospital. I also hope they will notify all their clients ahead of time for others who may be in a similar situation as me, because this really looks like medical malpractice to hold potentially life-saving drugs hostage just so motorists don't have to be inconvenienced by the sight of a poor or disabled person picking up their prescription. This Walgreens may have been Flagstaff's Best Pharmacy in 2019, but these intentionally discriminatory policies should put them at Flagstaff's Worst Pharmacy in 2020. It's all money over lives for Walgreens.

Jeff at Walgreens is super helpful. Very patient and kind. He answered my questions and checked to make sure the item I needed was in the store before I drove over there.

We were traveling along I-40 and planning to stay in Flagstaff for a day or two. My husband was running low on his nebulizer solution, which are prescribed medication. He called his family physician and requested a prescription be called into this Walgreens Pharmacy. This was done on a Thursday afternoon. On Friday morning, we arrived at Walgreens and checked in. The order was ready for pick up. The whole transaction was very smooth. Thank you, Walgreens, your service was awesome! Now my husband can move on to sightsee the Grand Canyon and Sedona with peace of mind, having a full prescription at hand.

A pharmacy with a huge liquor section when entering. Resting a back injury at a nearby motel, I purchased liquor almost daily but not to any extreme nor with bad behavior. The manager told me not to come back. I shopped there since they had opened.Should he be replaced with someone more people friendly? Maybe the district manager should hear about the customer service there. To add, I used the pharmacy as well.No more one could guess.

Its ok close is good
