A fantastic outdoor store that has a real family feel. Great owners, staff and great choice of goods. Support this local business as opposed to the big chains!
They have neither the best selection nor the best prices on outdoor gear. And if you're expecting even a single surplus item, you won't find it here. However, the store is clean and well-kept and I haven't had any trouble with staff. It's a decent place, but with the superior Babbitt Backcountry store just a block away, I don't see much reason to shop here.
PEACE Surplus is without a doubt the single best outdoor store I've ever shopped at!!! The customer service is amazing!! I had a new pair of Keens that has a tread defect and they took care of the whole process of helping me get new ones! In addition to that on multiple occasions they have helped me find the best gear for my camping back packing trips.
Honestly I will never shop for new gear anywhere else. I drive from Sedona every time I need something new because the experience is always worth it!
