Expensive. Look at dates on food. They often have bread, cookies, etc that are old. Make sure to check what deli meat they give you, it's frequently incorrect. Also check prices against the register tape. They occasionally do a switch a roo and charge full price for items that are on sale.
Well waiting at the Deli no one came to help me they just ignored me so I went to get some salad. I came back and the same thing so as I was turning around to leave the man asked if I can help you.nYuk!
A solid corner store food market. Pretty much anything you would need in case you are missing an ingredient in a recipe and have to run out quick. Staff is very friendly and smiling most all of the time. They have a huge sandwich bar. The prices are not exactly low, but the foods are much higher quality and paying a slightly higher price at a corner store is always expected.
They have donuts ready at 6am.nItems are there; go in and out really quickly.
Sorry to say that the quality of both the service and food has been declining in recent weeks. I three times have been overcharged by erroneous, duplicate scans or by erroneous labeling of cold deli items. The size of individually packaged danish bakery items has been reduced. The selection of bakery has become erratic. So has the selection of frozen orange juice. What apparently has happened is that Sendik's rapid expansion has resulted in the use of alternate suppliers and untrained store personnel. I suggest that Management promptly address the situation at the Bayside store before they lose this customer.
