Great pizza that has kept its success by keeping the same recipes and phenomenal pizz
Moving back home. Every time I swung through Wisconsin, just had to make the stop. Get a slice and bread sticks to go or for dine inn, get a couple cheese sauces for the bread sticks, just saying. Great full pies as well.
I ordered takeout on July 21 around 6pm. When I arrived to pickup my order, the gentleman and young lady working up front were both very friendly, personable and hospitable. The lady working in the back was doing a great job cranking out orders! Rocky's is and always has been my favorite deep dish pizza and is the only deep dish pizza I will eat. I love their breadsticks and they are even better with the nacho cheese! I have been to several different locations (Racine, Milwaukee near the airport, Stevens Point), but the Rib Mountain location provided the best service I have ever recieved at a Rocky's. As I was waiting for fresh breadsticks to come out of the oven, I observed your team taking care of other guests and they sure knows how to own the welcome!
It was good pizza. I like the crust thinner but that's just a personal choice.
This is the only pan pizza I have ever liked, and I've tried several of the Chicago deep-dish places. For me it's the perfect mix of dough cheese and sauce. I mix up my meat toppings from time to time but pepperoni is the go-to. The restaurant is nice but at times I wish it would be a little more intimate.
