Kelly did an incredible job! I’m the maid of honor at my cousin’s wedding and my dress was just a little too long! All the girls I encountered were so sweet and helpful! I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic seamstress!
Kelly was amazing to work with for my wedding dress alterations. She listened to my concerns, was very friendly and always happy, and did a fabulous job - I was a very happy bride. She made my wedding dress fit PERFECTLY! She also did alteration work on my mother's dress and my sister's dress for the wedding - thank you for your fast turn around and reasonable prices. Her shop in downtown Richmond is the cutest - highly recommend!
Kelly was absolutely phenomenal. She was always friendly, worked with my schedule, listened and executed every want I had for my dress. Was even able to attach brooches of my dad I had made (so he could walk me down the aisle). Highly, highly recommended.
Kelly handled everything for my wedding dress and dress topper with limited time, extremely well, and made sure I was comfortable. She also created small patches for our wedding shoes, as requested, for a small fee. Everything came together perfectly and the alterations were spot on!nnShe was patient, kind, and communicative throughout the full process. I had plenty of emails with her, it was very easy to complete payment in store, and really nothing was difficult in any of it. I'm very thankful for her work in this aspect of my wedding!nnThe shop itself is small, clean, and it's own kind of beautiful. I referred my aunt, who also went with her dress, and would refer anyone else in the area in need of dress alterations.nnOn a side note, please don't forget that it's also your responsibility to communicate! It's your dress! No one can mind read. If you want buttons, tell her! If you want a zipper, tell her! So long as you've given her the time and details she needs, I'm sure she'll get any reasonable requests taken care of. She's great! :)
Without a doubt the only place to go for alterations! I will refer her a thousand times over and over! Kelly truly is amazing! I had a huge dress with a ton of fabric, bought it probably about two sizes to small lots of buttons on the back. I was told the only way I’d be able to get it to fit was to put a corset back in, meaning I’d have to lose the buttons. The second kelly saw it she was like I can get it to fit without losing the buttons , she wasn’t lying it fit perfectly. Not only was she able to take it out enough to fit but she also sewed on a belt which was missing jewels.. went the extra mile to fix the pieces missing in my belt. Along with hemming and doing a French bustle which was also amazing. In my opinion much better then just pinning the train up on the butt. The moment I met her I knew I was in good hands. Beyond grateful for the works she’s done. Not only does she do alterations I also bought one of her dresses for sale in the store, she has a great selection and always seems to have sales on them so I purchased a dress for another wedding from her aswell for half the price.
